The prestigious winemaker Renaud Poirer is entrusted to find the best terroirs of the South American continent, deciding to establish Bodegas Chandon, the first subsidiary of Moët & Chandon, in Mendoza, Argentina, in 1959. Passion for innovation, growing incomparable grapes and elaborating amazing wines, led to the foundation of Bodegas Chandon in 1959, followed by Chandon wineries in Brazil and California in 1973, Australia in 1984, and, recently, China and India in 2013-2014.
