Where to have a drink

Since the Olympics in 2014, Sochi has become the new place to be on the “Russian Riviera”. Unofficially named “The Summer Capital of Russia”, the city is a true jewel between the mountains and the Black Sea. They say the weather is so warm in spring; you can even take a swim! Between two dips, make sure to have a drink or two in the city’s trendiest spots. Here are our recommendations (and guess what, most of them have Chandon on their drinks menu!)

Looking forward to having some fun but don’t want to miss a day at the beach? We’ve got your back! With a huge terrace, 2 pools, a cocktail bar, and a restaurant, VinoGrad is a place that must not be missed if you want to sunbath while drinking your glass of Chandon.

Amshenskiy Dvor is something of an institution in Sochi, where you can discover Armenian specialties.

For some French cuisine, go to Brigantina, whose French owner, Martian Simonneau, has turned it into a meeting point for the Tout-Sochi, or check out the Red Fox, with its cosy chalet atmosphere, a restaurant considered to be one of the best restaurants in Krasnaya Polyana.

The Syndicate Steak House is also recommended for its Russian-influenced food, including Kamchatka scallops.

And for partying, Bar London is the must-go place, where you'll reportedly see the most beautiful girls in town. This bar/restaurant got its name from a hotel that stood in the street through the 19th and 20th centuries, a very popular place among the bohemian youth. The hotel closed its door, but the street kept its nightlife reputation thanks to the London Bar. Eclectic music, designer interior, good food and a glass of Chandon; the place combines everything you need to spend an enjoyable evening.
